Personalize Your Style the Homespun Way

>> Tuesday, February 9, 2010

I haven't done a style post in quite some time. I think it's because it's been so cold, I've been wearing mostly jeans and sweaters. But this past Saturday, the sun was out, and I felt like rocking some new looks. If you watched our Green Smoothie video, you likely saw my progress on a new scarf . . . and my outfit above features the finished result!

Here it is in detail:

And if you stay tuned, I'll be posting a tutorial on Thursday so you can make your very own eternity scarf. It's like the easiest project ever . . . and I'm horrible at knitting . . . so even if you're a novice, you'll be able to handle it. And if you'd like to get a head start, go pick out 2 skeins of medium to chunky weight yarn and size 13 knitting needles.

Scarf: made by me!
Vest: Gap from years ago
Bag: B. Makowsky (via TJ Max)
Boots: Dr. Scholl's (via Shoe Depot)
Tights: Anne Klein
Shorts: DKNY
Sweater: Gift from my grandma for X-mas
Shirt (underneath): Target
