Camping in Maine was amazing. And exhausting. The weather couldn't have been more perfect -- temperatures in the mid to upper 80s almost the entire time. Not a drop of rain. Our camp site was situated close to the ocean, so we spent the majority of our time at the beach. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Maine beaches are the best. Why? Rocks, people.
Just look!

I've been vacationing in the Ogunquit/Wells area since I was a little girl (thanks, mom and dad!), so it was nice to finally share this place with Stephen. We kept our activities low-key (though we were incredibly tempted to trek to Nateva Fest and see The Flaming Lips, Passion Pit, Rustic Overtones, Grizzly Bear, John Brown's Body, etc. -- maybe next year?).
Here's a visual summary of what we did (and -- yes -- those are Vibrams!) . . .

I was mostly happy to soak in the sun and the gorgeous scenery, cook some amazing camp food (with recipes coming soon!), and enjoy a little time off. Plus, I got to take tons of fun photos.

Regularly scheduled posting -- with a gazillion recipes and fitness tips, as well as a trip recap -- will resume tomorrow AM. In the meantime, feel free to check out our archives (in the right-hand column). Hope you all had a great holiday/weekend!
