Hello! So, our internet connection isn't quite as reliable as I had hoped. As we mentioned in our Chocolate-Plum-Pecan Breakfast Shake post, this week is smoothie week! I meant to get this recipe out to y'all yesterday -- and if all goes well, you're in for TWO smoothie recipes today.

Anyway, I have a lot of relaxing to do, so I'll make this post brief.

PS: This shake is Stephen's creation.


What you'll need . . .
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee (not made, just the crystals)
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 10 pitted cherries

Method . . .
  1. Toss everything in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Enjoy!
It's e.x.t.r.e.m.e.l.y humid here right now, so I snapped a couple quick photos from our deck before my lens fogged up.

It's been hot, but not nearly as bad as a few days ago. Hope you enjoy this recipe . . . and we'll post more soon. Now: the ocean. Ahhhhhhh . . .
