Turn, baby, turn . . .

I just paid to renew neverhomemaker.com for yet another year. As I looked back through my records, I couldn't believe how long I've been at this blogging thing. I last wrote about keeping up the momentum. Today I'm taking on a less intense topic -- but I must first share how good it feels to actually keep up my daily pace with writing.
Anyway, in the last year, my generous in-laws have given me many gift cards to Ulta. So many that I sometimes wonder if those cards are a hint or something. Just kidding. (Am I?) While my personal care routine is still pretty simple, I have a lot more products to play around with as a result. And all those products were just tossed into the wild west of a storage cube until recently. I had my main makeup in a small baggie, but the rest -- including cleansers, oils, moisturizers, lip balms, etc. -- roamed free and mostly unused.
Yes. Today I'm not imparting any life-changing wisdom. I'm simply sharing this cool rotating makeup organizer that has seriously upped my personal care game. I love it. And I can now see everything I have and use everything I have.

My mom is who introduced me to it. She has a fancy one from QVC in her bathroom, but I found this one from Amazon for a cool $20. (There are all different kinds if you're looking for a different color or design or adjustability.)
Let me know if you'd like to know what's in this thing. Maybe a morning/evening routine post. In the interest of keeping this post short and sweet, I'll leave that for another day. I will tell you I like NYX cosmetics, Neutrogena Hydro-Boost foundations, and Badger lip balms. As you can see, though, there's a lot more! So, thanks to my in-laws for that. Hint or not, it's nice to feel pampered from time to time.
